Why This Matters

Most people spend their careers at companies where they're a small cog in a big machine. The work is stable, but the upside is capped and the learning is slow. We're building something different.

Latent Arc is a holding company for software businesses. We build them, buy them, and scale them. Our goal is 10-15 profitable SaaS products doing nine figures in combined revenue, and we plan to do it with a team small enough to fit in a single room.

That means every person here has outsized impact. You're not maintaining someone else's product. You're building the portfolio alongside the founders, with real ownership of the outcomes.

What We Expect

We're honest about what working here looks like:

  • Speed is the default: We ship features in days, not weeks. New products in weeks, not months. If you're used to quarterly roadmaps and lengthy approval processes, this will feel different.
  • High intensity: We move fast and expect a lot. This isn't a 9-to-5. We're building something ambitious and it takes real effort.
  • High autonomy: You'll own outcomes, not tasks. We won't tell you how to do your job. Figure it out, ask for help when you need it, and deliver.
  • Comfort with ambiguity: Priorities shift. Projects get scrapped. New opportunities emerge. If you need everything defined before you can act, this isn't the right place.
  • Small team trade-offs: You'll wear many hats and deal with less structure. In exchange, you get more ownership, faster learning, and a direct line to the upside.

Growth Generalist

Toronto, ON Full-time In-office

Most growth roles are narrow: you own one channel, optimize one funnel, report to three layers of management. This isn't that.

You'll own growth across our entire portfolio. That means you're not just running ads. You're deciding which products to push, which channels to test, which experiments to run. You'll have budget, autonomy, and direct access to the founders. When something works, we'll know because revenue moved. When it doesn't, we'll kill it fast and try something else.

If you want to learn how to grow software businesses, not just execute a playbook someone else wrote, this is the role.

What You'll Do

  • • Own growth strategy and execution across multiple products. You decide where to focus
  • • Run rapid experiments across paid, organic, content, partnerships, and product-led growth
  • • Build and optimize funnels from first touch to paying customer
  • • Manage real budgets and be accountable for CAC/LTV and revenue outcomes
  • • Work directly with founders and engineering to ship growth-focused features fast

What We're Looking For

  • • You've driven real growth before. Not vanity metrics, actual revenue or users
  • • You're analytical and comfortable digging into data to find opportunities
  • • You move fast, run experiments constantly, and aren't precious about ideas that don't work
  • • You can write: landing pages, ads, emails, whatever it takes
  • • You figure things out. If you've never done something before, you learn it

Software Engineer

Toronto, ON Full-time In-office

At most companies, engineers are handed tickets. Here, you'll decide what to build.

We ship fast. Features in days, new products in weeks. You'll work across multiple codebases, tackle different problem domains, and see your code directly impact revenue. No waiting months to see if something worked. No designs-by-committee. You'll sit with the founders, understand the business problem, and build the solution.

If you're tired of being a ticket-taker and want to build products that matter, with real ownership and real upside, this is where you do it.

What You'll Do

  • • Build and ship features across our product portfolio, often from idea to production in days
  • • Work full-stack: frontend, backend, infrastructure, whatever the problem needs
  • • Make technical decisions directly with founders. No product managers, no design committees
  • • Own entire features and products end-to-end, including the outcomes they produce
  • • Move between different products and problem spaces as the portfolio grows

What We're Looking For

  • • You ship. You've built and deployed real software that real people use
  • • You're a generalist. Comfortable across the stack, able to learn new tools fast
  • • You make pragmatic trade-offs. You know when to move fast and when to slow down
  • • You don't need hand-holding. Point you at a problem, you'll figure it out
  • • You care about the product, not just the code. You want to know if it worked
